Rob Wiltbank – Project Lead
By day, he makes his living at Delaware Tech as a web/database developer, programming internal college applications using PHP, MySQL and Oracle. Additionally, Rob is also an adjunct faculty for the Computer Information Systems department, teaching everything from Introduction to Computer Applications to Applied Programming Workshops.
His love of cooking began during his youth, watching his father in the kitchen preparing Italian influenced meals while his mother baked traditional cookies. Those influences remain; however, Rob now greatly enjoys the comfort cuisine of the British Isles and can often be found preparing a delicious pan of Shepherd’s Pie most weekends.
His love of learning and teaching has led Rob across many hobbies over the past decades. He is a professional musician and his work with drum corps and high schools have won awards along the east coast; he is an accomplished photographer specializing in high-dynamic range photography and portraiture; Rob shoots competitive pistol and is a certified instructor, teaching classes to Delawareans who are interested in firearms safety and in obtaining their license; this lead to an interest in criminal and constitutional law which ultimately got him involved with Life of a Law Student of which he is currently the Project Lead.
At home, he’s a husband and father of two lovely daughters. Rob enjoys watching television, developing web sites and occasionally geeking out on World of Warcraft.
Please don’t judge.
